Welcome to our Community Impact & Growth page.

This page is a deeper look into what Sondercove Wellness built in 2024 and what we are carrying forward into 2025. If you are here, you are likely a community partner, supporter, collaborator, or someone who believes in care that is rooted in lived experience, cultural relevance, and real relationship. We’re grateful you’re with us.

2024 At a Glance

In 2024, Sondercove Wellness served 127 community members through 2,445 meetings. These numbers represent more than productivity—they reflect consistency, trust-building, crisis navigation, skill development, and thousands of moments where people were met with dignity and humanity.

Provider Growth by Quarter

  • Quarter 1: 3 providers

  • Quarter 2: 9 providers

  • Quarter 3: 13 providers, including our first Licensed Clinician

  • Quarter 4: +7 providers, closing the year with 20 providers and 2 licensed professionals

Our team includes 4 men, and we remain a women-led organization.

Who We Are

Sondercove Wellness is a community-rooted organization where lived experience is treated as expertise—not an add-on.

Our provider community includes:

  • 15 Black/African American providers

  • Latinx representation

  • LGBTQIA+ identities represented

  • Providers with lived experience navigating:

    • Justice system involvement and re-entry

    • System-based housing and housing instability

    • Homelessness

    • Mental health and substance use concerns

    • Parenting while navigating systems with children living with mental health challenges

    • Intimate partner violence

    • Adversity, oppression, and generational trauma

We are also an organization where post-secondary education and lived experience learn from one another—where credentials matter, but they never outweigh culture, connection, and humanity.

A Different Kind of Growth

Our growth is a result of intentional decisions—choices that honor people over performance and community over convenience.

Our growth is a result of:

  • Hiring providers for who they are

  • Building an ecosystem where peers support peers, clinicians collaborate rather than dominate, and power is shared

  • Refusing deficit-based narratives

  • Choosing cultural relevance over convenience

  • Choosing sustainability over speed

Why This Matters

In spaces where burnout is normalized and turnover is expected, Sondercove Wellness is building a model that prioritizes trust, cultural responsiveness, and stability. We are proving that growth can happen without compromising values—and that community-led care can be both impactful and sustainable.

Current Hiring Efforts

As we deepen our work in 2025, we are continuing to grow our team with intention and are seeking values-aligned providers who believe in community-rooted, culturally responsive care.

We are currently recruiting:

  • Medication Management Prescribers

  • Nurse Practitioners

  • Psychologists

  • Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Parent Peer Specialists

  • Master’s-level and Bachelor’s-level providers

  • Employment Specialists

  • Housing Advocates

  • Additional community-based support roles

If this work resonates with you—or someone you know—we invite you to share this opportunity.
