Alyssa Ivy

Alyssa Ivy comes to Sondercove as an embodiment of community, empowerment, and resilience. She is a passionate advocate, a relentless supporter and

motivator. She is a mother and caregiver to her 2 nieces, the cultural collective care we don’t talk about enough. Aside from lived experiences of her own, she has a background in social work education, 5 years of restorative justice facilitation, and a decade experience working with youth, adolescents and adults. Her range of experience allows her to offer a framework that taps into many areas and includes the client in every step. 

Alyssa’s values of collective healing and radical love align with that of Sondercove Wellness, and her training in restorative justice and connections to the community are the roots of her support. Having been in Dane County most of her life, she has both needed the resources and support and has helped others obtain resources and support. She has had a weight loss transformation of her own and seeks to motivate others to embrace physical health alongside mental health, and as a road to recovery as well. At Sondercove this support will flourish with the mission, and will allow her to meet clients where-ever they are in their journeys.
