Georgie Nazos, MSW, CAPSW, is a social worker, parent, and community advocate who has spent more than 15 years walking with individuals and families through some of life’s most complex challenges. A proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, she holds a Master of Social Work and is a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker in Wisconsin.

Georgie has supported people in many spaces, including emergency rooms, inpatient psychiatry, housing programs, and community health organizations. Whether providing therapy, walking alongside families experiencing housing insecurity, or coordinating medical case management, she remains anchored in her belief that everyone deserves dignity, safety, and equity.

Georgie’s work is rooted in racial justice, harm reduction, and healing-centered care. She has implemented Housing First and trauma-informed practices, supervised teams of service providers, and partnered with landlords, schools, health systems, and community agencies to strengthen networks of support. Her passion for housing equity, equitable access to healthcare, and reproductive rights underscores her commitment to ensuring that all people, especially those historically marginalized, have stability to achieve their individualized goals.

Beyond her professional roles, Georgie brings the perspective of a parent and a lifelong learner. She is fueled by her belief in the inherent strengths of each person and her love for people in all their complexity.
