Aurora is an emerging social work professional whose blend of lived experience, workforce development expertise, and crisis-stabilization training Currently an MSW student at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, Aurora brings a strong academic foundation paired with hands-on experience supporting individuals navigating complex barriers, mental health challenges, and major life transitions.

Aurora has developed a robust skill set grounded in systems advocacy, cultural humility, motivational interviewing, and strength-based service coordination. Her frontline experience spans crisis stabilization, short-term residential support, and employment and training services—where she has supported individuals to overcome systemic barriers, secure meaningful opportunities, and build sustainable pathways toward stability and independence. Through roles in mental health stabilization, workforce development, and community engagement, Aurora has demonstrated a consistent ability to build trust, maintain safety, and support individuals in identifying their goals and moving toward them at their own pace.

Aurora’s leadership extends beyond direct service. As a member of the prestigious ECCHO Cohort (2025–2027), she was selected for her commitment to advancing civic health outcomes in historically marginalized communities. Her work includes community needs assessments, public health outreach, coalition-building, and project development rooted in equity, social justice, and trauma-informed practices.

Aurora is known for her reliability, professionalism, steady presence, and unwavering belief in the strengths of every person she serves. Her work is guided by the understanding that healing is nonlinear, that people thrive with collaborative support, and that culturally responsive practice is essential to true community care.
