Marie Nofodji Zomassi

Marie is a Licensed Advanced Practice Social Worker and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has experience working with youth, college-aged individuals, and adults across healthcare, educational, community, and juvenile justice settings. Her background includes case management, crisis intervention, and care coordination, with experience supporting families of children impacted by trauma and individuals living with HIV.

Marie is also passionate about advocacy and raising awareness for individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease. She brings this same commitment to helping clients feel empowered and confident in advocating for themselves and their needs.

Marie recognizes that each person’s story is unique and that culture, identity, family, and lived experiences can shape their mental health and healing journey. With a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach rooted in compassion, she works alongside clients to recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and identify meaningful goals. Believing that clients are the experts in their own lives, she supports collaborative, client-led solutions that reflect each individual’s needs, values, and desired outcomes related to mental health, substance use, and overall well-being.

Marie remains committed to continued learning from the clients and communities she serves and believes that compassionate, authentic relationships can be an important part of the healing process.
