Gayla Williams

Galynese Williams is a master’s-level social worker with experience in mental health, case management, medical advocacy, health equity, HIV prevention, community engagement, and program development. Her work has focused on supporting individuals and communities who may experience barriers to healthcare, mental health services, and other essential resources.

Galynese brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her work, including an understanding of what it means to establish intentional goals, make difficult changes, and work toward improving one’s life. Her approach is compassionate, direct, strengths-based, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, navigate systems, access resources, and create realistic goals that support the life they want for themselves.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Work with a concentration in Impact Leadership in Social Work and Administration. Her work is guided by the belief that people deserve to be heard, respected, supported, and given the opportunity to define what growth and success look like for themselves.
